Social Services Advisory Board

On January 1, 2010 Warren County assumed responsibility for the oversight of the Department of Social Services.  The administrative board that was in place was converted to an advisory panel and the County Administrator was designated the local board. 

The Social Services Advisory Board consists of five members, one from each election district, that were appointed by the Warren County Board of Supervisors.  The Board acts in an advisory capacity to the County Administrator and monitors the formulation and implementation of social services programs in Warren County.  The Advisory Board meets bi-monthly on the third Thursday of the month at 4:00 pm at the Department of Social Services.  The Social Services facility is located at 912 Warren Avenue, Front Royal.
