Virginia Resources Authority Bond Sale InformationIf anyone is interested in purchasing bonds from the Virginia Resources Authority (VRA) for the Warren County High School bond refinancing or for the RSW Regional Jail project, please visit the How to Buy VRA Bonds website. In order to purchase VRA bonds, one would need to have or open an account with one of VRA's participating underwriters. In order to find out who the participating underwriters are for the transaction, or to find out if there is a particular underwriter handling unsolicited retail orders, interested parties should contact VRA at (804) 644-3100. The facility will be constructed by Warren County Electric Partners headed by Zachry Industrial, Inc. While they will not be accepting job applications until February 1, 2012, information is being provided for those who are interested. |

At their April 17th meeting, the Warren County Board of Supervisors adopted a Secondary System Improvement Plan for 2012/13-2017/18. The Plan was prepared by Ed Carter of VDOT's Edinburg Residency and summarizes major projects, new hard surface projects, prioritized/tentatively funded projects, and prioritized/unfunded projects. Don't forget to sign your children up for the Summer Care Programs being offered through our Parks and Recreation Department! Two sessions are available for kids 5 to 11 years old, each with a morning and afternoon program. Registration began on April 2nd and only 50 children will be accepted per program, per session.
