Job Description:

This part-time position is primarily responsible for assisting in the CSA Office and/or County Attorney’s Office in the performance of complex clerical and administrative work. Duties in the CSA Office include, but are not limited to, taking and transcribing minutes of both the Family Assessment and Planning Team (“FAPT”) and Community Policy and Management Team (“CPMT”) meetings; preparing correspondence, reports, and legal documents; performing data entry of highly confidential, detailed information; and other clerical duties as needed. Duties in the County Attorney’s Office include, but are not limited to, preparing correspondence, court orders, and other legal documents pertaining to the office’s legal representation of the Department of Social Services.

Applicant must have strong organizational, written and oral communication skills and be proficient in the use of computers. Proficiency in Microsoft Office package is required. Any combination of education and experience equivalent to graduation from high school with considerable office experience required. A background in Liberal Arts/Humanities with a focus in Human and Social Services or Legal Assistant/Paralegal program is preferred. Hourly rate is $13.80 with no benefits, up to 28 hours per week.
